Apple LED Cinema Display with newer MacBooks?

Hello,

I just bought a new Apple LED Cinema Display 27". What if a user with a MacBook Air or a newer MacBook (thus Thunderbolt) wants to use the display - how is that achieved?

I believe thunderbolt is compatible to the minidisplay port and you should be able to just plug it in
