Guys, you are breaking the law. End of story!

You are cracking and using warez software which you do not have a licence for.

Yeah. That would be like buying a BMW because you like the radio that comes with it...
No, it's like you going into a BMW showroom and stealing the radio out of the new 5 series because you want it in your 5 year old 5 series.

It 'may only be frontrow', however cracking it is the same as cracking any other software such as iLife, Office, Photoshop etc.

This will go to wasteland and I hope the mods take action against the warez monkies on this site.

Since when are all crimes equal?

I'm pretty sure the BMW dealer would be upset if someone did this. The fact is, Apple probably isn't all that bothered when people try and put Front Row on old Macs, for which Front Row will never be available. People need to get a grip and chill out about this. Apple is protecting themselves by not allowing this to go on under their nose, but I guarantee you that they would laugh at the people who get bent out of shape about others hacking Front Row for old macs. It's not a big deal; mind your own business, or call your county attorney and report people. Maybe they will partake in your crusade to end the Front Row hacking.

heh heh..

That hack caused a lot of trouble, many people claimed that their menubars had dissapeared. It's better the way it is now.

Why would microsoft care about switchers? It doesn't make or sell computers - It sells software. If you put Vista on a mac you've bought microsoft software to do it (if you're a good boy/girl). Microsoft doesn't care what you run their stuff on as long as you pay for it.

Yes, but likely, you'll end up likely OS X so much that you'll forget you have Vista and stop using it (hopefully you've been able to find software solutions for OS X.)

Well most of the apples come with in built bluetooth. So why not have a bluetooth remote for media applications?
Or even better. Most of the cell phones today have bluetooth support.(I havent owned one in last 3 years. And I change my handset every 3-4 months) Why aint there any software which enables my mobile to controll basic media apps in mac. Ok you cant have the software for every single handset. But just making it compatible with series 60,90 will cover atleast 30% mobiles.
I feel it`s better to use my cell phone than using apple remote(or any other remote) only coz it`d cost me only for the software and I`ll be using the same device for two functions.
I`m using Sony w550i and this phone is really good(only if it had expandable memory). It can be used as a BT remote to control media player, desktop or presenter. Sadly it works only with Mr Gates Crap. :(

There is it's called Salling Clicker it works with nokia's sony ericssons motorolas samsungs and a few other brands (i.e 90% of recent phones).

It can Control iTunes, Keynote, PowerPoint, EyeTV, DVD Player, VLC, keynote, quicktime, iphoto and loads more programs as well as being able to control cursors etc. it can even control hacked and non hacked Front Row
