Apple lightning dock

is it worth spending that kind of money on a apple lightning dock? What is the difference between apple and any after market dock?

I think it's way too overpriced. All apple products are overpriced but this one takes the cake. Twelve South makes a really good dock.

And believe it or not, that is exactly what an Apple employee told me.

He didn't say it was overpriced though, he just recommended the Twelve South dock.

I was checking out the twelve south dock and they are around the same price or even higher.

Much the same as I was told when buying a dock. I ended up getting the larger Twelve South dock.
