Apple Logo Halo (8/8 Plus)

Hi guys. Just wanted to check I’m not alone in seeing a ‘Halo’ surrounding the Apple logo on the glass back. Not sure if it’s some sort of light refraction or the same metal previously molded in place now visible under the thin glass. The angle has to be just right. It’s not a big deal but I can’t now unsee it

I can definitely see it. Might have something to do with the logo being embossed in the glass backing.

I got a silver one iPhone 8... I don't have the same 'halo'.. But if I look closely I can see something around the edges of the logo..but by no means as much as yours.

Looks more pronounced on the photos than it actually is with a downlight reflection to the bottom right making it somehow look as there’s another mark there. Thanks for the feedback, just wanted to check I hadn’t got a dud. Must be a feature 😀

Mine is the exact same. Gold model. Now I can’t unsee it either lol
Good thing I have it in a case majority of the time.

I had a halo around my apple logo too on my gold 8.
