Apple logo needs to be a notification light.

On the back you have the led for notifications. It works fine. I rather see a ring light around home button.

a home touch ID button that would glow and do the same thing. This way you could "silence" the alert by just touching the button. This will probably be what happens but I love seeing my Apple logo glow on my rMBP.

I generally look at the screen, not the back of the screen!

And that's the problem, IMO, with using the Apple logo as a notification light. My phone is always facing me.

I'm not against a notification light completely, but a lighted apple logo is stupid. It's easy on a laptop, difficult on an iPhone.

The watch is for notifications.

Face down with a case. I tend to drop stuff when the phone is on my desk, and have cracked a screen more than once.

Or ultra thin device disappears under a pile of papers on desk. Screen up. Elbow carelessly applied to papers busts screen underneath.

I think the touchid indicator would be nice, but if I need an indicator, the flash as an indicator under accessibility options does work.

Um. Yea, as for the Apple Logo, No. If you have a case on and covers it, it's kind of pointless to have it. The Touch ID idea is nice, maybe the ring around the Touch ID should glow.

Something would be great. The glowing logo would just be cool. I keep saying this, but I miss the Moto X's active notifications. Pull it out of your pocket or pick it up and you'd see the time and if you missed anything.

Glowing apple? No. Glowing ring around Touch ID/Home button? That actually sounds like an ok idea, as long as it can be toggled on/off.

Actually, I always thought the home button should also serve as the notification light.

I'm not sure how practical it would work with Touch ID (maybe an illuminated ring that disables whenever the sensor is activated to prevent interference?) but I always thought that the square on the older home buttons should illuminate.
