I have an Apple Thunderbolt display and i am using it on portrait mode, the thing is, my OCD really cant stand that the Apple logo, that is on the bottom of the screen when used in landscape, now is on the side of the screen when used in portrait.

I am thinking of opening the display and try to remove the logo but i dont know if that is even possible, if it is just a sticker it would be pretty easy to fix, just remove the sticker (and i think the Apple logo is "etched" out in the black frame) and then replace the silver sticker with a black one.

But i dont know if that is the case, if the logo is just a sticker or if it is a more permanent feature of the bezel, sometimes when i look really close it actually look as if the silver logo is painted infront of the black bezel paint, if that is the case, i am pretty screwed :p. Is there anyone that have removed the front panel of a Thunderbolt display and knows for sure?

I looked at the iFixit teardown but that didnt give any clues.

    Tjena,

Cut out a slightly larger logo in white or silver tape and put it over the original logo.
