Based on what I have seen here, I seriously wonder what makes you think that they can do any better? I have seen some really crapy concept designs in here, and what's more interesting, people here keep encouraging them to waste their time by sugesting they present their design to Apple by filing a bug report

Well Apple has been rumored to be ramping up the team for the supposed iWatch, and then there's the supposed iTelevision. I wouldn't read too much in to it other than Apple probably has some great new products coming.

Apple just posted 7 new designer job reqs for the Human Interface Group. All of them for iOS. That has to be at least 15-20 within the last 6-12 months. Looks like they're really beefing up the iOS design team.
