Apple MacBook Pro 13.3" Laptop - A1278 (Early 2011)

I recently got macbook pro from ebay and was using it for a while when sudently. Unit Boots but shows grey apple logo and does nothing else. I am not good with computers I am unsure of what the actual problem is. Help please. Just remembered that I spiled little water on it, but I wiped it out. Could it be that I burned the logic board? But what about the logo? Please help

You probably did damage the logic board.

Similar thing happened to me a few months ago. I spilled a protein shake on my Macbook and at first it wouldn't get past the Apple logo, then it suddenly started working like normal again for about a week before the screen finally turned off and wouldn't come back on.

If possible I would take it to your local Apple Store and let them confirm what the issue is.
