Hi all, 🙂

I got given a magic mouse for Christmas, so I set it up on bluetooth, and while it is strictly working, as in i can move the cursor and click, none of the scroll features work, and none of the magic mouse options are shown in the 'mouse' section of my system preferences.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

Thanks! 🙂

What system are you running?

Is your bluetooth built in or are you using an aftermarket card for it?

If I understand you right, the mouse is working but none of the features show up in the System Preferences (clicking, scrolling, ect)?

If your running 10.5.8, I think you need to install the software that came with the mouse in order to get that control panel to show up (I don't have a magic mouse).

Hi btbrossard,

Yep, I'm using 10.5.8 with the latest Macbook Pro 17" and the bluetooth is on.

The mouse is technically working, but none of the touch-pad scrolling options are available.

And what software? As usual, the mouse comes with nothing else. 🙂

No tracking

My magic mouse suddenly stopped tracking; all other functions (buttons) work.
I disconnected/reconnected the device but still no tracking...
