Apple Magic mouse

I now have a Magic mouse in use on imac using USB Bluetooth plug in dongle. It works well but after 4 days its already used 5% batterie! Negative point: one cannot scroll through for example the finder menu.🙁

Why are you using a USB Bluetooth dongle, when the iMac has Bluetooth installed?

my mac does not have bluetooth installed.its an iMac from 2002

What OS is your iMac running? Are all software updates/drivers up to date? Also, about the battery issue, it's best to get some rechargeables and always have a pair charged.

put rechargeable in. After 1 day its already at 70%!!🙁
