For what it's worth I have an Anker unit (Anker 321 MagGo Battery) that's functionally quite similar to Apple's MagSafe Battery. With the Anker, you can use the USB-C port it charges up with in the other direction: to plug in a cable and charge an iPhone or anything else. I don't believe the Apple MagSafe Battery can do this.

Is it theoretically possible for future Apple Watches to charge from MagSafe or Qi chargers without drastically changing the design? I honestly have no idea how it all works, but it would be so nice to be able to charge my watch from my battery pack and not have to bring the watch cable when traveling.

I always wanted something the apple MagSafe battery pack that could charge or with USB C coming to the iPhone and the battery pack I love to see it be able to reverse charge from the phone to the watch.
