I have had my iPhone 15PM for about a month and just picked up an Apple MagSafe charger. After only one night of use it had this ring on the back where the charger is (picture attached) that does not fully rub off, nor does cleaning the surface make it go away - indicating that some sort of permanent coloration change has occurred. Do others experience this with the Apple branded silicone cases? I know the leather cases had issues but in my past experience the OEM silicone cases had proven to be pretty resilient to discoloration so this was a surprising disappointment. Wondering if it’s instead an issue with either the charger or case if NOT normal? TYIA

That’s common sadly, same with leather when they had it. At some point Apple even showed the ring it made in their stock photos so people knew what it would look like with the ring imprint.

I knew it was common with leather, but it is with Silicone as well? Surprised you don’t hear much about it…?

I haven’t noticed it with mine from using the Apple MagSafe puck. That seems odd if it truly happened after only one night of use. Mine has sat most of the day on my MagSafe mount without that happening.
