Ok so at the risk of sounding very stupid I need some help with Mail please! I've looked through all the settings and help topics but can't seem to fix it myself.

Basically whilst in Inbox I double clicked part of the message header and now I can't see message previews in my Inbox! The split screen, where message titles were shown above and then when clicked the body of the message appeared below, is no longer the case.

Please someone put my out of my misery as I can't seem to fix it and its bugging me!

    Thanks for any help.

you must have double clicked on the little circle on the message viewer bar. the bar is still there at the bottom so to get your split screen message viewer back just double click on the little circle again :)

Doh! Trying to find that little circle?

Feeling like a dullard, but can't find the little circle you mentioned? Only see list of emails -- no detail. Help?

    Thanks!

    button

It's the itty bitty button on the horizontal bar you can drag up or down between your list of messages and the actual message itself.

yeah that just got me as well.

Apple - please make it an option under the "View" menu.

The way it is now is a bit stupid.
