Apple Mail help: signatures in replies

I was just wondering if there was a setting in Mail that allows signatures to be hidden in replies so there isn't a continuous block of signatures trailing all the way down the page.

An e-mail thread can get cluttered pretty quickly when all signatures are shown. Thanks in advance!

There isn't, because signatures are just blocks of text added onto the end of the body of the e-mail. It's as much a part of the message as the "important" stuff.
