Apple Mail: What does the "TO" in front of some subjects mean?

What does the "TO" in front of some (but not all) subjects mean? See screen shot.

That you are the main recipient, you have not been cc'ed.

That is strange. The email in the 4th row, from "MacRumors Forums" is a mail from "MacRumors Forums" to my email address (it is an answer to another question I posted earlier today) - that looks very much like me (my email address) being the main recipient.
