iPad Apple Maps and Bluetooth Question

Am I going nuts or am I not able to get Turn by Turn directions through Bluetooth audio through my cars stereo on Apple Maps (I have a 2013 Chevy Volt, so it has the latest A2DP linking capability with BT 4.0)? I could not for the life of me get it to function, but I could get Google Maps to give me Turn by Turn BT audio directions on my iPad.

Can anyone confirm this? I only have an iPad, no iPhone, so I can't check with another iOS device running iOS7. If this is true, all I can say is, "WTF Apple?!?"

Doesn't work for me either, but then again, I never tried to fix it. I use Google Maps and the BT works fine on that.

Works fine for me. Have you tried bringing up control centre and choosing your airplay device as your car stereo?
