Can't wait to see Apple's Street View!

They've been collecting data for years, where does it go?????????

Why would anyone hold a touch screen "bezel-less" phone like this?

That’s great, just tried it on my daily route which includes walking->bus->train->bus->walking and it worked perfect, now please update the 5+ years old satellite maps.
How long does that take you? Over what total distance? Just curious.

Stockholm, Sweden
Just randomly checked some connections including public transportation (bus and metro) in Stockholm and it looks really promising so far. Awesome!

Nice to see Apple pushing forward on this, they keep making it better. Undoubtedly there will be bugs with some of the enhancements, like all big enhancements, but seems like they're getting better and quicker at fixing them these days.
I regularly report errors through the feedback system in Maps and they get fixed quickly. They even contact you (if you choose) to let you know your reported error has been fixed.

Seems to work just fine for the southern part of Sweden. Even includes the transits between Sweden and Denmark across the oresund bridge. Excellent!

Still not available in many countries and useless in many countries. Apple has been too slow on it's Maps development.

Too bad Apple is already behind again, even with this update: no real-time delay information, just general announcements. What’s the point in suggesting a specific route if the corresponding train isn’t running? Competing apps have this features for years. Although in a less attractiveness GUI.

Awesome. I wish it was around in Norway when I traveled through but now it'll be there if I go back (which I really want to do). I tested a couple of routes and it includes funiculars and ferries. Google maps still unable to pull up this info for transit.

Wow, doing some progress, huh? Not exactly. Apple's public traffic routes is non-existent in Apple Maps for my location with very intensive and developed public transport. In Mavericks the option is simply absent, in High Sierra I see it but every time I type in the start and end points Apple Maps tells me "Nothing found" displaying only car and pedestrian routes.
Another kink is that you have to type the name exactly. Sometimes inexact typing works, sometimes doesn't. Meanwhile Google Maps locates and puts together every kind of info at an instant of a second no matter how incorrectly I type. Yes, design-wise Apple Maps beats Google Maps but it's the opposite with "just works" where the former bluntly sucks. I feel Apple Maps improves by around 2030 before becoming the full substitute for Google.
Yeah, "In Emoji We Trust". Halleluiah.
