Apple Maps spoken directions problem

Seem since the last update now when using Apple Maps, google maps and Waze through bluetooth in my Toyota 4Runner and FJ Cruiser, the first few spoken words of the directions are cut off, “at the next light turn left” but you hear “turn left”. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and is it a IOS issue? What’s the fix?

Same issue, iOS 14 when listening to music or podcasts over my cars bluetooth. Extremely annoying. There's just a silent gap where the words should be spoken.

Pretty sure I encountered it pre-iOS 14 too.

I confirmed today this is a IOS14 issue.
I received a new iPhone 11 Pro with IOS 13.6.1 and it works perfectly like it’s suppose to.
