yes for sure for the end product. apple made the right call. it still sucks that they don’t have an additional supplier who can hack it though

On the PowerBook 170 (black and white active matrix screen), they allowed 5 dead pixels but any two had to be at least 1" away from each other. My PB170 had no dead pixels.Remember the days when Apple allowed one or two dead pixels in their displays.![]()
According to this same article LG is who gets the Pro displays orders.Apple gives the Pro orders to the more reliable and experienced Samsung Display.
LG Display's production capacity is primarily focused on manufacturing LTPO AMOLED displays for iPhone "Pro" models.

It's simple. Apple doesn't want to pay Samsung or LG's higher panel prices.Not sure why Apple keeps persisting with BOE, it's the same issues every year.
