I was told by a sales associate at the Apple store that they offer the education price to military personnel. Does anyone know how this would work when ordering online?

Try this. If you order via phone, you just need to mention it and provide some sort of proof (I assume ID number).

Try aafes.com and use one of the lovely coupons available like "9183vip2" which is for 15 percent off until I guess the first. Retailmenot.com also has alot of coupons and usually someone posts them when aafes has them available. I do not know what the restrictions are on the coupon. They may just restrict ipods and the like or the entire Apple Line but I can't remember off the top of my head. The website will tell you if you try to use the coupon.
