Interesting. I'm not an expert on this stuff, but are there any conclusions we can draw from this? Maybe A chips on Macs are further off than we expected?

Don't have a source but heard that Intel is dropping the ball by under-forecasting chip production which is creating long lead times . It's forcing MFG's to diversity into AMD to mitigate risk, cut costs, reduce lead times for customers, and build in more profit into their devices.

Look at 15" MS Surface Laptop 3 and Lenovo introducing AMD models.

The most important parts here are Renoir and Van Gogh. Renoir is unreleased Zen2 based APU, and Van Gogh is Semi-Custom product ordered by someone, for sure - not AMD's own product, that you will be able to buy off the shelf.

It means very simple thing. Somebody is testing how well software works with AMD CPUs, of all sorts, for upcoming switch to Apple own, x86 Semi-Custom based chips, that are designed by AMD, and manufactured by TSMC.
