As the title says, I'm wondering how play count syncing works in two circumstances for someone with an Apple Music subscription. First, if I stream a song on my phone from iCloud that was uploaded from my iTunes library (as opposed to playing a song directly from my phone that I synced), will streaming that song update the iTunes play count on my Mac?
Second - and I'm still trying to distinguish between iTunes Match features and Apple Music features, so this may not be something AM offers - if I "match" a song on iTunes and download the iTunes version, then delete the older version, will my play count for that song be retained, or will it reset to zero?
