Apple Music and remote app

Anybody know whether the remote app is compatible with Apple Music? I find that AirPlay from my iOS devices isn't nearly as reliable as my MBP. So I end up streaming all of my music around my house from the MBP and control it through the remote app on my phone. It would be great if you could browse the Apple Music catalog through the remote app and then stream it from a computer...but I'm guessing this isn't implemented.
