Had problems updating and downloading apps in the last 30 minutes. Status page says resolved?

Music app still not working for me. Glitchy on songs that I’m streaming. Force closed and rebooted and still sporadic.

EDIT: Looks like everything is working as intended. Weirdly it’s like the entire OS was glitching while the systems were down. Didn’t realize basically everything relies on their servers lol

No idea if related but two different Apple ID's at work will log into the developer portal and other Apple portals but cannot log into the Apple ID management portal. If I tell it that I forgot my password, I get the following error message...

One of the required resources is busy/not available to complete your request. Please try after a moment.

Meanwhile my personal Apple ID logs in fine.

AppStore has been extreme slow for me for weeks, too. iCloud sync (eg in Notes) is terrible.

Its a SERIOUS issue in that it can take down your router. I was troubleshooting this for hours thinking it was my end. Watching an AppleTV purchased movie would stall while playing, Apple TV wifi would stay connected but would get a local IP address for some reason, and screw up the router. Other devices lost connections anD everything had to be rebooted, including the other non-Apple devices. Even wired ethernet devices dropped out.

After giving up on watching the movie via streaming, no more issues. I downloaded the movie to my iPad, which took 10 times longer than it should have, and cast it via airplay.

I find it unacceptable that the ATV can take out your router, but I looked it up and this has happened to various people with my AppleTV going on 5 years.

I was unable to make a purchase on iTunes Store from within iTunes 11.4 in Mavericks. Worked before and in iTunes 10.6.3 in Lion as well.

Here's the message generated at the same time in Console:

Code:
17/10/19 02:32:16,215 iTunes[3542]: CFNetwork SSLHandshake failed (-9836)

I always sense unease when I see SSL faults because usually they pull the plug on some features of the older OS that require outside connectivity. I bet that could have expired certificates clean up involved, hence, the worldwide scale of the issue: certificates expire very often, periodically, and require continuous maintenance. Also, they could be in the process of changing connection protocols or adapting them (like a newer version of TSL). If not for that, many old browsers still could establish a connection to many more websites for a longer time than the vendors would allow them to.
Planned obsolescence.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on over there? Everything was fine with their services for months and months and suddenly everything goes to crap when iOS 13 and Catalina come out.

I'm guessing they're making or have made some major back-end changes in the past few months, but they've done this before without so many problems and downtime. What gives?

While not yet reflected on Apple's system status page, a number of Apple services are currently experiencing downtime or slow performance, including the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, and the iTunes Store. Apple's website is also experiencing some issues, including its developer portal being unavailable right now.

The issues span multiple countries and extend to Apple's Mail and TV apps. Not every user is affected, so your mileage may vary as Apple works through its server issues. We'll update as the situation unfolds.

Update - 10:45 a.m. Pacific Time: Apple's services and developer portal appear to be functional again.

I’m in Australia and updated my iPhone to iOS 13.1.3 last night and now my emails arrive but the content won’t download. I do t have this issue on my iPad running 12.4.2 so I don’t know if it’s this site wide supposedly resolved issue or a bug in the iOS which was supposed to fix the bugs! I upgraded from 12.4.1 as I heard too much negative feedback about earlier versions of 13 but was convinced to try this one. Now I regret it.

Timing really sucked for me - this all happened while I was doing a wipe-rollback-and-reinstall on my MacBook Pro. I kept running into various issues related to not being able to access iCloud (especially iCloud Keychain), not being able to log into the developer site (I needed an older version of XCode), etc.

Hmmm,

Apple news and music are not connecting over LTE but when switch to wifi it connects...

This seems to be happening more frequently lately, I wonder why.

‘Currently’? People have been reporting issues for days. My iCloud Drive practically doesn’t sync anymore since last week.
Trying to do a time machine back up sticks on “preparing back up” forever!

iTunes store and App store stil down in Holland, nothing solved yet.
iMack high sierra, tips and tricks not working

Strange enough i found out my Ad Guard was causing the problem, i disabeled it and itunes and App store were working fine
Updated to the latest version of Ad Guard (17-10) , enabeled again and enverything is working fine!
So no blame for Apple.

For me it's definitely an Apple issue. I upgraded back to Movaje (frankly, downgrade doesn't apply in this case) and it improved slightly, but Notes are still a catastrophe. I'm discussing it with Apple Support on Twitter but it's not very fruitful.

I can’t tell if it’s a server side issue or the OS build (or both) because earlier Apple Music wasn’t working again and the entire iOS was glitching/stuttering. Really haven’t had many issues with 13, but this week has been shoddy at best.
