Have to drop by and post a thread, maybe get some users to send in feedback to Apple.
The deal: Got Apple Music day 1. Been listening to and have already hit the "love" button on many playlists, but I want to focus on the "Rock Hits: 198x-xx" because they have gone through now and changed all the songs in them and left the artwork and descriptions, many showing bands that have now been removed from the actual playlist.
For example, Rock Hits: 1986. This was one of my favorite things on Apple Music.
The original track listing was:
The artwork is still the same, shows Krokus, Judas Priest and more. You can look at the playlist now. They expanded it to 50 tracks but there is no Iron Maiden, no Krokus, no Priest, no Megadeth, basically only a couple of tracks remain from the original list. Completely changing the feel of the entire playlist.
They have also done 1987, 1988, etc you get the idea.
What in a many expletive laden exclamation is Apple doing here?! Why would they just ruin what has been established for years and keep the same artwork and description and not just call the new lists something else? Who would do something like that? Bait and switch... not exactly the right term. Disappointing for sure.
Anyway, if this kind of thing happens to you, please send Apple Music some negative feedback at: apple.com/feedback
