What?

Google Music is plainly horrible, specially on Android!

And the content sucks, less music than Apple and no bonus like the Radio shows, not even cheaper!
Hahahahahahaha. No. AM is a complete and utter turd. On Windows it requires iTunes (horrible). On Mac it requires iTunes (horrible). No web interface whatsoever on any platform. And on Android, where it needs to succeed to be a hit, it has one of the absolute worst apps ever put out by a major publisher. AM is crap. Pure and utter garbage.

Should I even ask if it manages playing gapless?
It does. So if you enjoy listening to as much live music as I do you're in luck.
[doublepost=1468208623][/doublepost]In addition to periodic connection issues on a LTE network, still one other bug that bothers me to no end is the one that causes the same song in a playlist to repeat over and over, even when the repeat button/option is completely turned off and while connected via wifi. It's a random occurrence thankfully, but still annoying nonetheless.

I wonder how many Android subscribers there are.
+1 right here boss.

And iTunes is pure garbage because what?

Can explain your theory?

Can you put a CD on GPM web browser turd, and have it ripped and sent to your account? No, you can't!

iTunes is the best music management software that there has been, it supports multiroom audio, ripping, burning, smart playlists, tag edition and DOES NOT NEED INTERNET CONNECTION TO WORK.

Google Play Music is a lazy piece of software, they don't even care to make a proper desktop app and your stuck with a crappy web interface all the time!

Both services have flaws but although I complain about AM I do like them better. I usually switch between one month of Play Music then one month of AM. The issues I have with Play Music is that they sort by Album name and push useless artist stations. It would have been perfect if I can turn off artist stations and sort by Artist, Album. AM lets me do that now.

I like that icon better than the iTunes for Mac/Windows

It's 2016...why don't we have round icons yet, or the ability to customize them? If Apple ever gives us the ability to customize the UI, I would never have a desire to jailbreak ever again. (Don't judge me, I'm superficial) :p

I got all giddy and excited for a second, then remembered it won't sync my live bootlegs anyway :/
Yes it will. I have thousands of hours of live music assembled in playlists by individual concerts by brand, that is not a label's "official" live release, that is automatically loaded to the cloud via my Apple/iTunes account for Apple Music to access. It's actually one of the perks of the service.

In the link below, read the iTunes Match/Apple Music section of the article. My iTunes Match subscription expired in May and I haven't renewed. Instead only keeping my Apple Music subscription. Basically every "unofficial" band live album playlist that I have built in iTunes is still matched in Apple Music at upwards of 100k songs total. (Could be more now?) I can still open up my playlists with Apple Music and stream/play all of these shows seamlessly. For this alone, I don't mind the subscription cost. Gotta have all my live Dead, Phish, Moe, Cheese, etc!

I hate live tracks the only exception is Salsa and Tropical Music because you hear more of the music and less of the annoying crowd cheering.

You have to listen to live tracks that are pulled directly from the soundboard and are correctly mixed.

It amazes me how many bands release live albums that are recorded from mics positioned in the crowd. Sounds like treble-laden crap with all highs and no lows. No thanks.
