I've been poking around the web and it seems I'm not alone in these issues this week.

For You section showing lots of foreign music all of the sudden. New music mix is late this week (March 6). Favorites mix was gone for nearly everyone this week (March 3) then came back the next day.


Something is seriously wrong at Apple Music as far as their servers pushing proper data to users.
 
I'm currently having a ridiculous issue with Apple Music.

First, my Cloud Music Library on my MacBook Pro refuses to update, with error 18004, about Genius results. But I never use Genius. Then I lost all my music library from my Mac, I have even tried sign in, sign out, nothing.

Lost 2 hours with Apple Support for nothing.

Then all of sudden, the music library from my iPhone disappeared. The library now only exists on my iPad Pro, but even on iPad Pro I was having issues - three albums had covers missing. I fixed it redownloading them.

I am now only being able to listen to my music using the beta apple music web player. All my music still exists on my account - I just cannot get them on my Mac or iPhone! Ridiculous.

Edit: Even more ridiculous, I have deleted my entire library yet it cannot update on any Mac at home. I will probably cancel the subscription and switch to Spotify. Ridiculous.

Aftert quite a few years with iTunes/Apple Music I recently cancelled my subscription. I tried Spotify Premium for a few months and decided to keep it over Apple Music. Much better discovery and recommendations and fewer technical issues.
