So I am testing out the public beta on my iPhone X, but I've noticed this in iTunes on my mac as well. So I have two songs as an example, but they are greyed out and Apple Music changed the album from the original to some crazy compilation I've never had in my library.

I have these songs in playlists of mine and I cannot play them as the are greyed out in Apple Music.

Example 1: Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country
Fairly popular song off City of Evil, cannot play, no longer shows as part of album, now grayed out and on album: Spring Break 101?!?

Example 2: Panic At the Disco - I Write Sins Not Tragedies
Again, popular off their debut A Fever You Can't Sweat Out...now grayed out and on album: New Music Now 2.21.06
[doublepost=1531631386][/doublepost]Well, just looking at my library a bit deeper I found about 30 tracks total affected...not bad, I have a huge library approaching 45k songs.

Seems the licensing of the albums most the songs were on ran out for Apple Music and the only version of certain songs available on the service were on certain compilations.

What is odd..for Avenged Sevenfold, the track is not available on its original release, or the compilation Apple Music "moved" it to...but it is available on Avenged Sevenfold's Greatest Hits Album their old record company released several years ago. Odd thing!

I don't use betas, but I would reckon they can change the track that streams so long as its its "essentially" the same song, though I understand there are differences - remasters, some songs are slightly shorter/longer with fade-outs or intros, etc. Perhaps they have an updated "database" for iOS 12, though I have no idea really.
