Are you saying Apple has absolutely NO idea how many units they sell of each iPhone model ... what a sad commentary that is.
How in the world did you get that? I was simply saying that there is no need to report them individually anymore. People forget it is an investors call. At the end of the day, all that matters is how many phones were sold, not how many iPhone 8+ models were sold. The important information consist of total numbers and whether or not the model in question is selling well, which they answered by saying the iPhone X is the best seller.

What’s sad is how rude people can be on these discussion forums. I’m just trying to have a discussion here, and people like you immediately go into attack mode with insults.

If you think Apple doesn't know how many of EACH phone or device sold how many, you are naive.
That isn’t at all what I said.

What good is statistics on a 90 day free trial? How many are converted to paying users would seem to be more relevant. Free trials? Who cares? How many are paying!!? Full disclosure...I'm not!

Exactly. Yet more con-trickery (my made up word) of Apple lumping every form of AM conduits under the sun with the pledge: "Trust us! Our numbers are magical!" Just like they do with their yearly 'Others category' (Watch, Pods, extended warranties). Or like how Apple passionately proclaims the X is the # 1 selling phone they ever made, yet after a decade yet still don't break down sales by model.

The free/paid split is right there in the first sentence of the article.

I found that a friend had been paying $10/month, thinking it was Amazon Music. The only thing she was using iTunes for was to play music from her CD collection. She bravely ended her Apple Music subscription, after being warned that "only purchased content in Music will continue to play", or something like that.

You mean like drive over to McDonalds because they're the only place that accepts Apple Pay?
Seriously? Do you live in a third world country? Every credit card transaction I make is with ApplePay, and that's over 95% of my transactions. Even vendors at farmers and craft markets use cordless card readers (regular or Square) that tap and go with ApplePay. The only times I need to actually pull out a card is to read out the number for over the phone (voice) transactions.
