Has anyone noticed that Apple simply cannot make up its mind on whether and how to include previously played music? They’ve added it and removed it, feels like at least half a dozen times in recent point updates.

Scrolling up in your Up Next would show what songs just played. It’s gone again in the latest point update. I get that the gestures go against the pull tab for Now Playing and are difficult to discover but it’s like there are two senior managers, one who wants it and one who doesn’t and they take turns adding it and removing it. Make up your minds already!

I’d be happy with a tab where it says Playing Next that says Previously Played.

Is there anywhere to see previously played in this point update or should I just wait for the next point update for them to bring it back?

Scrolling up to see the history has always been there for me.

maybe they’re A-B testing which is why it keeps getting added and removed. It’s definitely not there for me in the latest point update. Can you do a video capture to show it working?

Here’s mine:

Pulling down the list pulls the Now Playing screen down with it. In previous versions, it showed my play history. Not anymore.

Running iOS 14.3, iPhone 12. Definitely different from what you’re seeing. I don’t have the ellipsis next to shuffle and repeat as well.
