she came to my school and performed before she became famous, i have a picture with her. it's really cool and crazy to see how much her career took off.
I am not sure I would tell too many about that picture. It may affect your career prospects.

Taylor Swift is officially the most overrated singer of all time. Her lyrics are sophomoric and her voice is average at best.
And so in the world we live in, you are surprised such a person could achieve the success she has?

Her and Beyoncé music are so forgettable. I was listening to Jody Watley’s Real Love and Friends and I was just blown away by the bass line, coherent, simple but pure lyrics. The hooks are so catchy and creates this ear worm you never can let go of. Taylor and B have yet to create music with that kinda lasting legacy.
"Forgettable" and proceeds to name someone with no legacy.

You’re talking about mass market. One of the main requirements there is being as basic and safe as possible. Otherwise, your “music” won’t sell. These two are huge corporate entities with hundreds, if not thousands, of people constantly working to push this product to masses. At that level, it has very little to do with music and has everything to do with marketing.

Based upon your glowing comments, I just listened to Jody Watley, who I never heard of before. The music was completely unimpressive. Didn't do a thing for me. Sorry. Listen to Brahm's 2nd Piano Concerto. If that doesn't reach your deepest emotions, nothing will.

Its popular music, I am not comparing apples to oranges here.

I agree, its a different game. Its just when I stumbled on Jody Watley, I knew when and where I was at the time, who was around and alive. Taylor and Beyoncé's music cannot create that level of connection.

The Taylor Swift experience but without Taylor Swift? AND she gets a pay day! That's like going to a McDonald's without burgers. How much more money does this woman need?? Honestly, you'd have to be desperate to go,..she is still a normal person.

How much would she charge to have a cardboard cut-out of her displayed at this event? $500,000 😂 Then her sheep would tear it apart to get a little piece of it.

Artistes don’t always have a long shelf life, so I won’t blame her for striking while the iron is still hot and earning as much as she can while she is still insanely popular.

No, Taylor reached a "new realm of superstardom" after she started dating two-time Super Bowl Champion and greatest TE of all time, Travis Kelce.

There, I said it.
I sincerely hope this is a joke or sarcasm because anything else would be dilusion. Taylor got people who otherwise couldn't care less about American football to show up and watch games. Kelce did not get football fans to listen to Taylor Swift. They already knew who she was.

Heres a little bonus data from Google showing how nobody cared who Travis Kelce was until he started dating Taylor Swift. Screenshot_20231201_203812_Samsung Internet.jpg
