Maybe instead of investing resources in trash like this, they should direct some of those resources towards making Apple Music actually load the For You, Browse, and Radio tabs.

(Yes, I know they very likely aren't the same teams responsible.)
Huh? I've never had issues with those loading.

Generally speaking, the entire 12.x beta cycle, anything pulling from one of Apple's stores, be it the App Store, iTunes, or (now, apparently) Apple Music, it's taken forever to load. LTE or WiFi.
I'm not seeing that at all. And I've been on betas and am currently. I don't use the iTunes store but I do use the app store and apple music without issue.

I took a Wiz out behind the Khalifa once.... I think we're getting so covered up in "celebrities", nobody on earth can keep up with all of them. Never heard of this guy, and I suspect my life is better for it.

His stage name is derived from Khalifa, an Arabic word meaning "successor", and wisdom, which was shortened to Wiz when Khalifa was a young boy.

[9]Khalifa stated to Spinner.com that the name also came from being called "young Wiz 'cause I was good at everything I did, and my granddad is Muslim, so he gave me that name; he felt like that's what I was doing with my music."

By the age of 15 he was regularly recording his music in a studio called I.D. Labs.[12] The management of the studio was so impressed by his lyrics that they allowed Khalifa to record for free.[12] This allowed him to receive professional grade studio time at no cost to him.

An exclusive documentary on a rap star? No way! Not on Apple Music!

^ This guy genres.

It really blows my mind. Tim Cook and Apple want to take this family friendly approach with their Apple TV+ service, yet they fully support, promote, and damn near push the Rap genre on people through Apple Music. The most non-family friendly genre there is. Tons and tons of questionable lyrics. But hey, that’s okay.

They want/need to maintain a young userbase to keep the brand trendy. It also helps that if they hook them young they’re fans for life.

Do you want apple censoring music for you? I certainly don't. It is the most listened to genre and as a result it shows up in the top charts. However I rate it and my "for you" section continues to improve.
If I go over to spotify and check out their top charts, same thing.

Music is very personal. Just accept that lots of people like music that you hate. And that's ok.

Apple worse than MTV.
Are they supposed to create content for genres that aren’t popular among a majority of its subscribers? Like it or not hip-hop is currently the most popular and profitable genre.

Hip-hop is also the most popular and profitable genre of music right now. Music sales and popularity have been youth driven since the 1950’s yet somehow folks on here expect a music service to not spotlight what generates the most revenue.

Yea how dare they create content for fans of the most popular musical genre right now

I’m with you on that and I hate today’s hip hop and trap. I get that not all content has to be geared to my tastes. I watch and listen to the stuff I like, I don’t what I don’t. Too many people here get angry when Apple produces something that they don’t like. The world doesn’t revolve around individual people. There are tastes for everything and Apple should produce content for a wide spectrum of tastes and genres.

MacRumor's aging and out-of-touch base is going to have a field day on this.
Quite the opposite i think- Wiz was popular like 8 years ago (as someone mentioned here) and now is just a has been. If they made a movie about Cardi B- then you could be out of touch. It seems more, that Apple is tailoring content to aging fan base (see also Oprah, Aniston and others on ATV+) not the other way around.
Not defending Wiz, his music is an absolute joke.

Delete. I just re-read your post and we're on the same page, lol.

I never understood why members in this forum click on articles about hip-hop artists just to bash them and their genre.
Members of this forum click on articles about watch bands to complain about no new Mac Pros. They click on articles about analyst predictions to complain about Tim Cook. The complaints of which you speak are at least on topic!
