In the saga of me being fed up with all Apple services, a new problem presents itself.

Now, today I restarted my Mac and had to login to iCloud again on Music. No problemo. However, now my entire Apple Music Library has disappeared from my Mac. It is stuck on 'Updating Cloud Music Library', and despite restarting, deleting cache, logging in and out, nothing is resolving this.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Spotify may be the way to go. After a number of years I have had it with Apple Music. I have put it in the bin along with Apple Calendar, iCloud email, Photos and iPhone.

I agree, but once embedded in the iCloud ecosystem, it's hard to leave since I have iCloud Drive, Notes, Calendar, Reminders, HomeKit, Apple Music, iMessage. Honestly, I could get by with only my PC, ditching the MacBook and Apple Watch. But, on the phone side of things, it's hard to escape.
