Apple Music metadata

When I subscribed I used a new iTunes library on my Mac so my library would not get scrambled. I added those tracks for AM itself and except for a few playlists, I leave them in the cloud for streaming. QUESTION: can I change the genres of those tracks to better match what I think they should be? There are some artists who's album has one track labeled R&B where the rest are Jazz. Makes no sense.

If changed will they sync to my other devices?

Yes. Metadata of Apple Music songs and albums is completely editable, just like a regular library. And yes, it will sync to other devices. I've been doing a lot of this.
