Hi

just got Apple Music and added a load of albums to my library, then for some reason a few albums split up into seperate albums... is this normal? How do I rectify it?

also I have noticed that the ‘recently played’ under the for you section and the ‘listening to‘ on my profile doesn’t only seems to update with certain albums/playlists and are not in sync at all...

Any help would be appreciated.

After looking into it, the reason for the splitting of the albums is due to greyed out songs (or songs not available in my country etc)...

what I have found is if you add an album to your library and a certain track appears greyed out What Apple Music seems to do over the coming days and at random times is add those greyed out songs to your library if they’re available elsewhere on Apple Music.

this then appears as a separate album in your library, I really wish it wouldn’t do this as it will constantly be a clean up game with Apple Music, it would be far better if you just had a notification saying a certain track had been found and would you like to add it your library so you can clearly see what’s being added as and when it happens.
