Apple Music on multiple Apple TVs

I no longer have the AirPlay icon on my Apple Music on my Apple TV to share what I’m playing on other air play devices. What happened? Anyone else?

I have multiple ATVs in the house and i used to be able to play Apple Music on my Apple TV and pick other Apple TVs to stream the same music at the same time. This function seems to be now missing. The airplay icon is now missing on the Apple Music app within the Apple TV.

I’m still able to get this functionality by holding the home button and selecting the AirPlay devices from there.

I’m not wanting to play the music from my iPad or iPhone. I want it to be played fro the Apple TV as I always do and then airplay it from it to the other Apple TVs in the house. As well as my home pod in the garage. I have been doing this for years. There has always been an airplay icon on the tv screen while a song was playing. It is now gone.

Sorry I missunderstood. All of my apple TVs are paired with hompods so that changes things a bit and I think that’s why I usually go through control centre when I want to AirPlay between different Apple TVs because the music is going through the homepods.

I think we may be talking about the same thing here. I was unaware there was a control center on the Apple TV. I was only aware of control center on the iPhone and iPad. I am usually up on these things and missed this update. With help from all of you here I was able to solve this issue. All is good now. Thank you!
