I assumed with Apple Music that with AM, my playlists would sync between my iPhone, iPad and Mac. However, that is not the case - I have to create them on each device.

Anyone know if this works and if so, what I could be doing wrong?

No issues for me.

In iTunes Menubar I go File > New > Playlist. Give it a name and then drag and drop albums into that playlist (when you click and drag say an album the left sidebar swaps into the playlist list.)

My phone updates 5-10 seconds after I add to/change the playlist.

This may be totally unrelated, but I am having a weird issue with syncing one particular playlist. There are a few songs that won't stop syncing even though they're not a part of the playlist I'm syncing. I'm forced to delete them from my iPhone (5s) in other words.

Static playlists seem to sync fine; I find the issue is with Smart Playlists. The recently played takes DAYS to sync between devices - sometimes skipping entire tracks in the process.
