Apple Music subscribers can now listen to their "Replay 2023" playlist as of today. As in previous years, this playlist ranks all of the music you've been listening to on Apple Music from 1 to 100, updating weekly so you can keep track of your most-streamed songs of the year as 2023 progresses.

"Replay 2023" will update every Sunday with the newest order of your favorite music on Apple Music. By the time December rolls around, you'll have an overall list of your 100 favorite songs on Apple Music saved in the playlist.

Once you've listened to enough music to generate the playlist, you'll find it at the bottom of the Listen Now tab in ‌Apple Music‌ on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. There's also a more detailed version of the data tracking feature on Apple Music for the web, including most streamed artists and albums, and statistics for detailed play counts and hours listened.

Apple has been making its yearly Replay playlists available since 2019. Spotify Wrapped has been dominating this area of the music streaming business for a few years now, mainly thanks to its easily shareable infographics that come out in early December. In addition to Replay playlists, last year Apple introduced a "Highlight Reel" feature with more statistics about each users' listening history at the end of the year.

Head to the ‌‌Apple Music‌‌ app or Apple Music on the web to add the Replay 2023 playlist to your library. If you haven't listened to enough music yet in 2023, the playlist may not appear in your ‌Apple Music‌ app. Once you do listen to more music, you should see your Replay 2023 playlist appear as usual in the Listen Now tab.

I really hope Apple improves the social aspect of Apple Music, I mean how else will I share my music tastes with people who most definitely never asked? That's pretty much the main appeal of Spotify! 😤

and the speed. It should feel more like an experience (the app) than it does. Hope it gets a good upgrade with iOS 17

It's still horrifically inaccurate for those of us who BUY our music rather than stream, even if I've purchased it from iTunes directly.

The song it has listed as my top song has 2 plays fewer than my top-played, and there are quite a few others that simply aren't listed at all despite having more plays than what's on the list.

tl;dr: all streaming algorithms suck if you ACTUALLY listen to a wide-variety of music, as opposed to maybe one or two genres.

Mine isn't there yet..

I had a free trial to Spotify.. terrible UI on CarPlay where I do most of my listening... deleted it and will stick with Apple Music. Spotify's discovery is better, but couldn't deal with that UI

Why would anyone enable statistics like that? I do not want that data like that exists about me, because it is very private.

I found the replay stats not entirely accurate last year, the way they count number of plays is weird. Also I think offline downloaded music doesn't contribute to the number of listening minutes.

Spotify’s doesn’t. It’s amazing how often they discover new artists/music that I actually enjoy. Apple Music is lazy. And the interface sucks. Good riddance

You're right. I listen to Future Sound of Egypt podcast and all I must do is listen to it once and the tracks show up in replay. Even the ones that are just intro's.

I think YouTube Music does better. I get it with ad free YouTube but the recommendations and playlists are so dead on accurate.
