I have apple one and that's the only reason why I listen Apple music. To be honest, I hate their algorithms. It's never correct. I have even complained about it through feedback and via mail. I don't even listen to apple music more than half an hour per week! Maybe it's time to go back to Spotify or use youtube music

I found the replay stats not entirely accurate last year, the way they count number of plays is weird. Also I think offline downloaded music doesn't contribute to the number of listening minutes.
I don't stream, so there should be NOTHING on my list. EVERYTHING for me is downloaded & offline.

I’ve been getting them from Apple every year since 2015.

Somehow I didn’t get one in 2020…
I don’t recall clearly, but I think they first made them available in 2019, but (perhaps after some time) you could generate them back to 2015.

I’ve complained about it before and I’ll do it again; never got any Replay update since 2015. I have listened basically every day since launch. All streaming from library and playlists. Tells me I have to “start listening” to create a Replay.

I recall that I was missing a few years, and then they retroactively showed up. I listen to several hours a week (commuting, doing yard work, etc…), and it doesn’t seem to register 90% of my music plays.

i think the issue is I don‘t often select a specific song, but instead tell Siri to “play something I will like” which usually results in my personal radio station. I am not sure, but I don’t think these plays are counted.

Is there a reason why when I go to Replay it says I'm 40% there in terms of when it will actually activate? Wouldn't they just take overall listener history and use that as a starting point for 2023? Is there a way to know when I will actually be eligible to get the new year and not feel that it's futile no matter how much music I'm listening to?
