I seem to have isolated where Apple Music/iCloud Music Library (AM/iCML) is screwing up my iTunes Library. It is not the individual songs metadata but AM/iCML is changing one or two of my Library files. I made copies of the four Library files before AM/iCML had a chance to make the changes (screw things up). After AM/iCML made it's screw up changes I closed iTunes and copied the Library.itl & Library.xml files back to iTunes. When I opened iTunes everything was back to normal.

However my euphoria was short living since AM/iCML did it again.

I 'rinsed and repeated' but AM/iCML is a heartless bastard and insist on having MY Library it's way. If only there was a way to limit AM/iCML's access to the Library.itl & Library.xml files.

Any ideas?
