I think nearly everyone here is in agreement that Apple is slow to respond to issues
This bug they patched just popped up a few weeks ago, and you think they are slow?

Apple has a public beta program, and it's too bad people didn't report this during the beta period.

Apple Arcade does the same thing on the TV when switching between Apple IDs from countries where Arcade is available and countries where it's not.
So my girlfriend's ID is from Hongkong where it is not available, and mine is German, where it is available. No matter where I put the Arcade app, even into a folder – when I switch to my girlfriend's account it disappears and when I switch back, Arcade reappears in the middle of the dock, pushing the app utmost to the right of the dock out of the dock. Super annoying since I don't want to have Arcade at all but I can't even delete it.

I think that DMA thing is rather stupid regarding “default apps” it’s Apples’ OS and frankly I quite like most of the default apps. And if you or others don’t, they know exactly where to go to get the alternatives.

DMA regarding “default apps” should let them be or maybe after the OS is done doing the first setup just pop up a window dialog asking if the user would like to browse the App Store for their favorite apps
The DMA solution will stop the platform owners preferencing their own apps. People can select Google search, Google Maps, Firefox browser with gecko engine, and so on as their defaults instead of the default apps which may not be the best in some countries.

I think Hanlon's Razor applies to most of what goes wrong in iOS. Never attribute to malice that which can adequately be explained by stupidity.
Good point. I think this explains Apple very well in recent years. Apple has cheapened the software engineers they use to such a point that it is hurting the brand and the company. They have no idea because they do not have a tech leader. Today, I don't think I would look at being an Apple software engineer as a plus on a resume. Apple seems to get the cheapest they can find and their performance shows it.
