Apple Music to iPod Classic

I thought I read somewhere that Apple Music combined with an iTunes Match subscription, would allow you to transfer Apple Music songs to an iPod classic? Whichever way I try and do it, I cannot copy Apple Music songs to my old iPod classic.

Can it be done? If so, what am I doing wrong?

It can't be done - what you can do is still transfer matched songs to an iPod classic if you have an active iTunes Match subscription
