You might want to look into Vox. Unlimited uploads of your music to their cloud without compression, supports HighRes formats, allows downloads.

THis looks nice, but is Vox also a streaming service like Apple Music or Tidal, or is it just a player? Anyway right now it is not an option for me because I have iPhones and iPad but am now on a Windows computer, and they have not yet come out with a Vox version for Windows platform.

Unless it’s changed, another benefit of Spotify or Apple Music over Tidal is the ability to upload your own music to your library (i.e. music from CDs that are not available for streaming). This was a deal-breaker for Tidal for me when I was weighing options.
This is a main issue for me as well. I have CDs that I want to upload as well as a few concert DVDs that I extracted the audio from so that I can listen in my car. Speaking of which, since I only listen to music in my car, I don't hear the advantage of Tidal's HI-FI, and as a matter of fact, Apple Music sounds better in my car than Tidal.

No sure I understand the question. You can stream music from the Vox server to the Vox player on your device, or you can download to your device. But it is not a streaming service that gives you access to 40 million tracks. You can only stream your own music which you have uploaded to their servers.

I use a music application OSX MacPro (and app iOS iPhone) call Roon. This integrates with music stored on your laptop via itunes and also a TIDAL subscription and has both an amazing player that beats both the itunes and apple ones for quality, and also incredible music discovery features.
