Apple Music w/multiple users and different tastes

Okay, so how does a family use/curate Apple Music to one's tastes and likings without getting each others? Myself, my wife and my son all have entirely different taste in music (imagine that) and would like to know if it's possible and how to curate to each other's tastes.

Is it through the Account screen? Family Sharing? iCloud username? iTunes username? I'm getting confused with all the different accounts Apple is making us have.
