Apple Music won't add songs that were previously local in my library

This bug is getting annoying.

I've been deleting old, lower quality songs from my iTunes library and replacing them with higher quality versions from Apple Music. There's a problem, however. If I try to replace some songs that were local with an AM version, it won't add on iTunes. The local version was deleted, but iTunes refuses to add the AM version.

Anyone else encountering this, or is it just me?

Honestly - I'd just bail on the entire "my music in the cloud" part of Apple Music

It's iTunes Match mess all over again (with a new name)
