I'm having an issue with dragging .mp3 files to playlists in apple music. When i drag them in, the app seems to reject them. Any advice would be appreciated.

***edit*** If i convert the file from .mp3 to .m4a in quicktime, it will drag in with no issue. Do I have to do this with all my .mp3's?

Apple (junk) Music ain’t no iTunes… you will find it doesn’t do most things a music management tool such as iTunes did.

Are the files already in iTunes? I.E. can you add them directly to iTunes and not a playlist?

I highly recommend using an app called iMazing. I can drag and drop mp3 etc. to my phone wirelessly with no problems.

Yes, I tried dropping it there and also my playlist. Apple makes things so difficult lol

no they were just recent downloads i tried dragging in.
