iPod touch Apple needs to make this right! (Bad Screens)

I guess I do feel sorry for the people that are having problems with theirs and hope you guys get them replaced soon. But I also feel bad for people in other countries like england, germany, australia, that will not get theirs until the end of september and that we are bashing the touch. I just don't think its fair, but w/e, i'm enjoying mine and I hope all of you that have problems with the screens get it fixed ASAP.

My Images, PLEASE note that the only camera on hand is an old one (2MP?? flaky POS) and those horizontal lines you see are not visible to the naked eye. I think it's some sort of camera to lcd thingamajigy hoozomiboble. My other cam is at work...

All I'm concentrating on here is there "negative" issue that I really don't see on mine. Can you?

No visible problem.

Those pictures aren't that dark though. Try looking for a really dark screen.

i decided to restore it, but for ****s and grins, decided to check for an update, and lo and behold, v. 1.1 is ready for download. I'm fresynching all my stuff now as we speak, *crossing fingers*

What do you mean? Mine shipped with Version 1.1.

Any blacks. Home screen, photos, coverflow background, movies.

It's a issue of the display hardware and the viewing angle necessary to view blacks. just so happens it needs to be tilted slightly to see them properly.

Except that we should expect better than a 4 degree optimum viewing angle range from a $400 media device. This is definitely a defect.
