For years, Yahoo has been my default source of news. A while back, they implemented a feature (I think it was called "Content Preferences") that let you "unlike" articles, including the ability to specify what in particular you didn't like about it from a group of tags. This fixed my main complaint about Yahoo News. I don't care about Blac Chyna or anyone with the last name of Kardashian or Jenner, I'm not interested in what provocative outfit Miley Cyrus wore last night or Paris Jackson's new tattoo, and I don't want to see articles about the latest scandalous behavior on The Bachelor.

In short, I don't want to to see any stories about "celebrities", period. I know I can just not click on the articles, but I don't even like seeing the headlines/thumbnails... I prefer to simply pretend that these people do not even exist. And for a while, things were perfect, as the feature worked as advertised, resulting in me rarely seeing these articles on Yahoo. Unfortunately, a year or two ago, this feature was removed, and now my Yahoo page is full of this garbage again.

However, I've found that Apple's News app is an ideal replacement, giving me the ability to customize the feed to mainly include news that interests me. The only problem is that I can't access it from my computer. Anyone know of a way to do so?

I have the same question. I'm tired of using all of the news sites via the web. I want the iPhone News App on my desktop.

I like Vienna, it even lets you create smart folders to filter crap, although it's only able to take RSS feeds.
