So now that Apple has figured out that their hardware is overpriced and demand is slowing they are a service company. Ok, cool: I will refigure my future hardware needs, and who will provide them, accordingly. But for god's sake can they at least proficiently support the hardware they HAVE heretofore created so as to not disrespect those of us who did spend 1K on Xs', and 3.5K on "pro" laptops?

The company has no shame, and only a fleeting sense responsibility toward anything other than the stock market and the bottom line. Yeah, I am naive for not remembering the principle raison d'être of any business; silly me for imagining that Apple could think different(ly).

My devices are not crashing but my magazine selections are not showing up in the "My Magazines" section. It limits me to only 5 selections. Looks like another Apple SANFU. I've been a loyal Apple fan since 1980 and have bought almost all their products since. I really miss the old days when a product or service was released, IT WORKED, not the gargabe we get now. I am almost ready to go to the dark side. APPLE---get your act together once and for all!!!

I signed up for the one-month trial on my iPhone. The app hasn't crashed, but a lot of the magazines are difficult to read on the iPhone because they're the actual images of the magazine pages. So I decided to try it on my iMac. But when I opened the app on my iMac (with the same iCloud account), it doesn't seem to know that I'm already subscribed to the trial. I'm reluctant to click on the subscribe button on the iMac in case it subscribes me a second time.

In case anyone else is having this problem, I solved it by simply rebooting my iMac. Until I did this, I couldn't get past the trial subscription dialog on the iMac. When I clicked through, it would tell me I already had a subscription but it wouldn't let me view any content from News Plus. I had previously updated Mac OS to 10.14.4 but it looked like an additional reboot was necessary.

Not only does it keep crashing on my Macbook Air (2014) running on macOS 10.14.4, but now it refuses to open. It just crashes instantly. It hasn't been fixed at all.

I was really looking forward to Apple News, as a Canadian (Québec) customer. I'm used to Google Actualités, and I'm disappointed that Apple News dot not include many options for following specific topics and sharing articles (at least on macOS).

For anybody who still is having issues with this.... I chatted with Apple Support this morning and removing the News app, and reinstalling it resolved the issue. The only bummer was all of the magazines I had downloaded were removed.
