Apple News+ Not working

I subscribed to Apple News+ on my iPhone & everything went smoothly, picked up my iPad Pro which is also on IOS 12.2 opened the news app clicked the news+ tab, when I click the tab to start reading it says I am already subscribed to this & gives me an option to manage my subscription or just hit ok to read. It doesn't work. You click ok and it kicks you back out to the start reading option. Ive shut down both iPhone & iPad already & no matter what it takes you into this endless loop of start reading - you've already subscribed - ok. The iPhone works fine but it won't allow you to read on the iPad. It's some sort of bug


Of course the second I hit post on this then pick up the iPad it finally starts to work, SMH

I am having the same issue, have tried probably 25 times and just keeps failing.

Found the solution.

Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > View Apple ID > Payment Information > then update your payment info and tap done

Went back into News App, purchased the free trial, and it worked.
